First and foremost, sorry about the smudgy corner. I later discovered that the lens I was using was a bit dirty. Anyways, I don’t know about you, but July flew right by. I know that I had had a few moments where I was less active, but with traveling, work and then the passing of my Boston, Tareek, I felt really drained. I’m feeling more energized now, but I think it may take me a bit to get up to speed.
Happy hump day! And for those in the U.S., hope you had a fun and safe 4th of July! Originally this post was supposed to go up on Sunday, however I slacked and couldn’t get it up. However, I’m going to hunker down and get this, and more, up for you. I’ll be honest, I thought there was a lot more products in this post, but I think it was more so large packaging than anything. So without any more delays, let’s take a look at my June Empties!
Is it an #Empties post already? Sure looks like it! Today I’ll be sharing everything I used up in the month of May. There’s not too much here, but I think that’s because I really tamed down my routine and usage. I was dealing with a bout of seasonal allergies all through the end of April and May. For me, that means that my skin is super sensitive and hates pretty much everything. I kept my routine basic and that meant that I used up much less product. I also limited the amount of face masks I was using, simply because I didn’t want to overload my skin here.
Other than the few facts you now know about me, I figured the next best way to get to know me is to go through my
trash empties! I don’t have much here from the month of April, but I figured its a place to start. One thing to know about my empties is that you’ll see I do like to use a lot of the same types of products, but I always talk about whether my opinion changes over time. Additionally, I do label whether products are cruelty-free or not (if known). Also, order will always be skincare (broken up into masks, cleansing and/or treatment/moisturizers), body care, hair care, makeup (if any) and any other miscellaneous beauty/hygiene products. Now that you know all of this, let’s get to it!
Oh and one more thing: Everyone’s skin is entirely different! What works for me, may not work for you and vice versa. I always like to disclose what doesn’t work for me and what does, but I do try to say if I think it could work for other skin types or what the best use I’ve found may be. With that said, NOW let’s get to it!
