Happy hump day! And for those in the U.S., hope you had a fun and safe 4th of July! Originally this post was supposed to go up on Sunday, however I slacked and couldn’t get it up. However, I’m going to hunker down and get this, and more, up for you. I’ll be honest, I thought there was a lot more products in this post, but I think it was more so large packaging than anything. So without any more delays, let’s take a look at my June Empties!
SheaMoisture African Black Soap Clarifying Facial Wipes* | I liked these wipes, but they weren’t my favorite. These seemed to just be too stripping for my combo skin, so I won’t be purchasing these again. If you do have oily skin, then you may want to check them out. I tend to use wipes like this as a morning cleanse or in place of toner.
SheaMoisture Coconut & Hibiscus Radiance Facial Wipes* | Now these wipes, these are amazing! These rival my favorite Pacifica wipes and First Aid Beauty Radiance Pads. I would use this every morning as my morning cleanse or as toner when I’m traveling. Definitely purchasing these if I don’t get a chance to buy my Pacifica wipes.
Etude House Wonder Pore Freshner | One of my favorite toners. This makes my skin feel so soft and clean. I would say to start slow if you’re sensitive to alcohol in toners, but really, its not noticeable at all. I love this so much. Definitely a ride or die.
Pur-Lisse Daily Lip Nourisher w/ Mango & Shea Butter | This was a decent balm. I have very dry and flaky lips so while it did moisturize them, it didn’t last. I kept this strictly for my AM routine, which kept this lasting for quite some time. I don’t think I’d go out and get this on my own. Got this in my February ’16 Allure Beauty box.
The Juice Beauty Green Apple Peel Nightly Brightening Pads, NeoStrata Restore Facial Cleanser, Botanic Farm Grain Ferment Cleansing Sherbet and Banila Co. Clean It Zero will all be reviewed in upcoming #SampleSunday posts.
Bio-Oil PurCellin Oil* | I haven’t used Bio-Oil since I was in high school. We won’t even go into how long ago that was. Anyways, I remember it being good for my dry skin and it was! I bought this smaller size just in case it didn’t work out, but it looks like I’ll be going back to Walgreens for the larger one now. I know a lot of people are weary on Bio-Oil, but it feels great and leaves my skin nicely moisturized throughout the day without feeling greasy. But just know, my body is dry like the desert.
Nature’s Blend Lemongrass & Ginger Soap | I swear the best thing you can find at Marshalls is soap. I absolutely loved this scent and it felt amazing on my skin. I’ll need to go back and buy all of them.
Aveda Rosemary Mint Composition Oil | I never did use this in bath, but I loved this on my body. A little went a long way, so which is awesome. I would definitely purchase this on my own and maybe then I’d use it in a bath!
Gillette Venus with Olay Shave Gel in Voilet Swirl* | Decent shave gel. I only bought this because of the small size. I needed something to take with me on vacation that I and my oldest daughter could use. It worked well enough, but I won’t be buying this any time soon.
Aveeno Positively Smooth Shave Gel* | I was pleasantly surprised by this. I loved how smooth it left my skin after a shave. Would definitely purchase again.
L’Oreal Extraordinary Clay Dry Shampoo* | I loved everything about this dry shampoo. It felt light on my scalp and absorbed all the oils, but also had a fantastic scent. Definitely my new favorite dry shampoo.
The OGX Weightless Hydration Coconut Water Shampoo and Conditioner, Giovanni Hydrating-Clarifying 50-50 Balanced Shampoo and 50-50 Balanced Conditioner and Oscar Blandi Texture & Volume Spray will all be reviewed in upcoming #SampleSunday posts.
THE FACE SHOP Soul Sweet Kiss Eau de Parfum | Don’t sleep on inexpensive scents! This is is fairly reminiscent of my biggest lust, Jo Malone Tuberose Angelica. This scent has both Angelica Flower and Tuberose, but also an addition of citrus and musk. I mean, oh my! I tend to switch up my scents daily based on what I’m wearing and the temperature outside., which means this was a winter/going out summer night scent. I also tend to use this on vacations. I 100% would repurchase this. I do have a bajillion scents, so I really need to empty 3-5 before I can add one. 😅
L’Oreal Brow Stylist Plumper Brow Gel Mascara in Transparent* | Decent brow gel, but it doesn’t last for a full work day. Wouldn’t repurchase though. My brows are very unruly and long, so I really need a good hold on a brow gel. I emptied this on my vacation and this was mentioned in my What’s In My Vacation Makeup Bag post.
Cle de Peau Perfect Lash Mascara in Black* | The hubs bought this for me in Hong Kong and I have to say, this is definitely one of my favorite mascaras. It made my lashes so long and dark. The more you layered, the more it looked like you had falsies. Love, love, love! I have so many mascaras right now, but once I’m officially close to out, I would consider purchasing. Also, just like the above product, I emptied this on my vacation and this was mentioned in my What’s In My Vacation Makeup Bag post.
e.l.f. Eye Makeup Remover Pads | These are good for on-the-go makeup removal or just cleaning up liner. I keep a pack of these at work just in case whatever I was wearing gets a little crazy. Also, these go on sale at e.l.f. for super cheap, so stock up then!
Wet ‘N Wild Under The Sheets Makeup Remover Towelettes* | These are decent wipes, but I mostly use these to clean up swatches. Nothing too special here.
The NARS Orgasm Blush will all be reviewed in an upcoming #SampleSunday post.
-417 Foot Nourishing Cream | I got this in my January ’16 Glossybox. I’ve been neglecting foot care for some time and its always when the sun comes out that I’m like, I should take care of my feet.” At that point its a little late. Anyways, this felt great on my feet and helped with dryness.
OPI Jasper Jade | I’ve revived this polish quite a few times, however, its finally at a point where there’s not really anything left to use. Definitely one of my most treasured polishes. I was able to get one file swatch for my swatch collection, so hopefully in the future I can compare this to other dark green shimmers.
And that’s it! Again, not that much, but it looks like I have a ton of samples to review now! Can’t wait because I will have my first makeup #SampleSunday in the future. Have you tried any of these products? If so, what are your thoughts? Comment and let everyone know your thoughts on these and any empties you had for the month of June.
